Local Businesses
KI believes that there are numerous well-educated and talented fellow Africans currently running their own businesses—just like we are.
The challenge most face is inexperience in industry best practices and inadequate knowledge of international norms governing energy, power generation, oil, gas, LNG and mining businesses. As well as how these deficiencies negatively impact social economic development locally.
KI finds it imperative that local enterprises should innovate by adopting international standards and technologies, develop globally competitive human resources, and enhance productivity to be attractive to multinationals.
In response, KI has designed an integrated Local Enterprise Development (LED) model for micro- to small- to medium-scale enterprises—those that have growth objectives in mind.
